After checking updates on my email account, I caught sight of this random link that says "Philippine gay rights party challenges election ban". I immediately clicked on it and read it's contents. Basically, it talks about how the Philippine commission of election banned a gay rights political party-list from participating in the next year's election.
The reason for the party-list being banned?
Because according to the holy books, homosexuality is immoral.
This is my take at this bias prejudice.
Before anything else, I'd like to say that I am a Roman Catholic myself and that I do believe in God because I was brainwashed. What I'm trying to say is that, when I was very young, I did not know anything about God, morality and the difference between what is good and bad or right and wrong. I only knew them after someone has told me about it, letting me know that this is bad, this is good.
Now, in my own humble opinion, if that is your basis for morality, what about those things that are not in those holy books of yours? Let's have the Ten Commandments as an example. Below is a copy from the Internet (because I did not know all ten. Yes I know, I'm evil. )

A is killed by B making B the suspect. B now is a sinner because he violated the Fifth Commandment which is Thou shall not kill. Here comes C avenging the death of A by killing B.
Now the question is, has C committed a sin and violated the Fifth Commandment?
Some will say Yes, but some will say No. Why? Because the only intention of C is to avenge the death of A. He did not intend to kill B but only end up doing it because it's the only way he can to get what he wants, which is vengeance.
In the Ten Commandments, there was nothing said about revenge. Right? Then, why is it that some people taking revenge, making revenge, or avenging a murder for instance is taken as wrong?
Now tell me? Is that really so? Just because what's written is "Man is for a Woman" and not Man for a Man doesn't really mean it is immoral for a Man to be with a Man too. It also applies for Women.
What I think is that, it was unfair for Commissioner Ferrer to ban the gay rights party-list from participating in the 2010 elections of moral grounds because his basis is prejudice.
The resolution went on to say that should the commission grant the petition, they will be “exposing" the youth to an environment that “does not conform to the teachings of our faith."
“We are not condemning the LGBT, but we cannot compromise the well-being of the greater number of our people, especially the youth," it said.
I'm sorry Commissioner but I think you are wrong.
The youth of today knew better than that.
We all need a change. Because we can. Obama says so. Anyways, who knows?
Maybe the only way for our system to be uplifted is by appointing people who do not only believe in their faith, but those who also believe in what they believe is right. Someone who is open-minded and someone who accepts the reality. Not someone who's blind and is willing to be blind.
When will the Philippines reach that phase? Don't ask me, I really don't know.
I actually miss doing this. I mean, it's been a while since I blogged something full of words. The previous posts were all about randomness and shitfuckfucks~ but meh, that was me. XD Anyhow, how have you all been doing huh? It's really been a while.
Few more days and it will be Christmas Day! XD How I wish it would snow here in the Philippines so that we will have a "white" Christmas, lol. I know, I know. I'm a kid at heart, demmit. So, uhm, what should I be posting/talking about now?
Hmmmm... our English class just finished about 40 minutes ago (time check: 5:15) so yeah that means our class ended at 4:35 pm today. It's a Tuesday and so far, I'm liking the week. Except for the fact that our Ethics teacher has gave us his ultimatum which is tomorrow. The poor old guy was kinda irked by the way my classmates (okay fine, including myself) have been behaving in Ethics class.And that if we will still not do what was asked, we have to find another teacher/professor. He was expecting too much from us, like being very participative and all. Well, I guess it's what almost all of the teachers in this world are doing.
But the thing here is, well~ he... kinda... makes fun of us (lack of a more proper word to be used). He says we're all college students now and that he doesn't have to spoon-feed everything to us because we are all old enough. And that information is just at the end of our fingertips crap. Seriously though.
I really like the subject so far. It's very challenging and that it actually enhances one's ability of thinking and weighing some things out.
However, I think, during the discussions, our teacher thinks and assumes we like, have all that there is. As if we already know all the infos and blah~. He gives situations and crap and we, the students end up laughing our own asses because of humiliation because in every attempt we make to reason out, he always finds a way how to twist the situation, he always finds holes.
I am, to be honest, threatened by what our teacher said with us finding another Ethics teacher. He reasoned, he has all the right to do what he wants because he has the right. He says it was like a slap in his face to have students like us in his class. Though I really respect this teacher, I still think he has pushed us to the limit.
It's only been 2 weeks since the 2nd Semester started and now, this? Well, I can still manage. I just find is unappealing in a teacher-students relationship. Some of his old students says he has changed a lot since the First Semester. Heck, I don't really care. I just want to have a reasonable grade in this subject.
Anyways, there. Finally let that out. XDDD Though that wasn't a very big deal, I just had to post it here because I don't really have any other thing to talk about, as of the moment. lulz.

God, I can't believe after a few hours posting the previous post, I still couldn't fall asleep. So, right now, time Check it's 3AM November 9th. I have classes 6 hours to go yet I'm still awake. I won't probably be able to sleep well tonight. I know this ain't Insomnia because I took a nap around 6PM yesterday, so yeah. Oh well. I really don't want to go to school later today. And dang, I need food. T__T
Few hours ago, me and a couple of friends went to Opel's house for a small birthday gathering. It was supposed to be a lunch party but I went there a little late. haha. But we had fun anyways~ the shrimp was sooooooo dang great I thought I was gonna be drunk. XDDDDD
I told Opel to buy Soju (a Korean beerverage) because it's being sold here in a Supermarket. I thought we should have fun and all (and because I'm such a bad-ass influence~) but she forgot to tell her Papa to buy one. It's okay though~ MUHAHAHA!
Tomorrow, November 9th will be the start of our regular classes and I swear I am not happy nor looking forward for it. I still feel the need to enjoy my break. How I wish school break would last for like, a month or two. Maybe three months is enough~ *sigh*
Oh well. My schedule kiinda looks okay though. My class will start at 9AM! YAY! I was gonna post it here but I left my notes upstairs and I feel lazy today. hahaha. I will post it up tomorrow. ^^~

This year and last year, we didn't join the Trick or Treats because of some reasons. I think we were all busy over something. And well, most of us are big now... but I will try to see to it next year. XD
I.. just finished watching what Yoochun recommended, the movie The Hole. I was supposed to watch it together with my cousins a day ago but my Auntie stopped us from doing so because "it's not for minors". And that means my underage cousins.
I may not yet be of legal age, but my maturity is similar to those working professionals already so yeah. hahaha. I found time to watch it today because my underage cousins were at school. I still don't have classes for the 3 week-long Semester Break we had. Classes will resume next Monday, November 9th.
Anyways, I woke up later than I expected today. I got up from bed around 10:38 am then watched TV for a while. I was really not feeling well and my head was aching because of too much sleep, I suppose. haha. I so love lazing like that. But then my stomach started grumbling so I had to prepare my brunch.
I took a quick bubble bath before eating my brunch which was instant noodles which I want to call as Ramen. XD The preparation did not last long because it was an instant noodle, hence I don't have to cook it anymore. I just poured all the contents to a bowl including the seasonings and poured a hot but not boiling water and let it cook for a while.
And then~ I started watching the movie and had my brunch! XD
I was really thinking there'll be lots of explicit scenes since my Auntie said it's not for minors.. Not that I am looking forward to it. But some scenes are not really for 13 year olds who can't even cook rice. >.>
So I know some of you might have already seen the movie.
But just lemme do my thing and start, yet another failing narration. Puahaha.
Anyways, it was a typical story of a girl falling madly in love with a guy. The story can be summed up in a single line spoken by the main lead, Liz: "Have you ever loved anyone so much you didn't care what happened to yourself?".
I guess the main lead was experiencing some real-ass asdfglkg psychological disorder. Her obsession to the guy she likes is already overboard. While I was watching, my face was twitching as I was thinking I just wasted my time. But after some debating, and when the climax was nearing I finished watching it anyways.
After watching it, I immediately went to Google to clear some things up. Because, looking back to the video clip I embedded, Yoochun said "Ana-The Hole" so assumed, what he watched was the one which was the 1957 film. But I think, as what Yoochun said during his narration (which failed too, haha) he watched the one which was released in 2001.
So, if Yoochun really watched the one which was released in 2001...
Okay, I should just keep my thoughts to myself because well... some things are better off that way. haha.
I just can't understand how people really go that far just for the one they love. And just by thinking of it, at the end of the vid clip, Yoochun mentioned, around 5:01

Okay, back to the main topic. I don't have the right to judge those people who'd go that far just for someone they really love. Even if you are so desperate already, still. But, when things like these happens, people tend to forget the fact that the mind/brain is put(positioned) higher than the heart.
This reminds us that in everything we do, we should always try to take into consideration two things: our minds and our hearts.Well, maybe the lead didn't take into consideration either of the two..
Though I find it awkward, with all the not-for-underage-girls things, I mean seriously. I'm still young and stupid and maybe ignorant of stuffs, yes.
But I'm not dumb not to understand some stuffs happening in the movie.Well, yeah whatever. It was still worth the watch. Oh! And I did another googling haha~ and found out that the phrase, "the hole" is a colloquial for solitary confinement.
