illusions...?

I was lurking thru cyxion and found this really amazing stuff.
I thought I'd share this to my rotting blog. XDDDD

I'm pretty sure the purple lines are straight...

focus on the dot in the centre and move your head backwards and forwards.
Or try moving closer to the monitor then back away a bit.

weird? cool.



Do you see any gray spots between the squares?
Where on earth did those grayish spots came from?

Your eyes are making it move..
To test this, stare at one spot for a couple seconds and everything will stop moving. Or look at the black center of each circle and it will stop moving. But move your eyes to the next black center and the previous will move after you take your eyes away from it....

Weird ?

Are illusions for real?
No they are not real. Why? I don't know.
They are called illusions cuz they are misapprehensions, false impressions, daydream, fantasy and is clearly the opposite of what people call reality.



But, I still think illusions are sometimes for real.
