Sickness and Randomness

I have tonsilitis and is also having a runny nose. I suppose this is the effect of eating too much sweets last night. My Auntie who just came home from her trip to Baguio City, (the summer capital of the Philippines) brought back lots of sweets and gaaah, I did not control myself from indulging on the amazingly sweet Peanut Brittle and Strawberry Jam. Baguio City which is the summer capital of the Philippines is known for its beautiful pine trees and fresh strawberries~.

Yesteday, our breakfast/midnight snack was oddly unique.
We ate toasted bread with Strawberry Jam. ^^
Unique cuz for the first time, we ate a midnight snack.
Odd coz I just feel like using the word. LOL!

Eating was never really my hobby, but is a habbit. XDDD

I can't eat properly cuz I'm having problems swallowing the food.
It feels so sad. T_____T
I kept on drinking water. Water Theraphy~ *yells*

I also gulped 2 spoonfuls of vinegar to make my tonsils better. Its weird but it was said, if one has tonsilitis, one should (or at least try) gulping a spoonful of vinegar. Its a superstition.

I swear it was not yummy. Its sour~!!!

I suppose the vinegar's sourness will help a bit in reducing the pain in your tonsils..
Just a wicked idea.
It was never really advised by the doctors.
Just some random this and that during the medieval period.

I finally learned a lesson. T______T

My Auntie also bought a Sungka. And I'm starting to get hooked with it. XDD

Known as "mancala" in many places, in the Philippines(where this board came from), it is called "Sungka".Made of solid wood with painted patterns and seashell game pieces. The board measures 30" x 6" x 1" thick.

Special credits to google for the pic above~

How is it played?
Sungka is a traditional Filipino Game played by two participants. The objective of the game is to amass stones or cowrie shells in the player’s home base (bahay) by continuously distributing the shells around smaller holes until the player runs out of shells to distribute. The person who collects the most shells in his or her bahay wins.

I just hope my tonsils will feel better tomorrow or later since its already 1 am-ish. Pray for me to feel and get better~
